Stretch doesn't collect any data. There's no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Everything the app needs stays on your iPhone.
What stays on your iPhone
- Your settings: the apps you picked, your check-in time and the household objects a photo can show.
- Your current session: minutes used, which stage you're in, and when you were last in a tracked app.
- A short session history on the device, which the app uses to show how sessions ended.
None of this is sent anywhere. Deleting the app deletes it.
Screen Time
Stretch uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks, with your permission, to count minutes in the apps you choose and to show the check-in. Apple gives Stretch those apps only as private tokens it can't read or share, and the data never leaves Apple's system on your device.
Photos
When you take a check-in photo, Stretch looks for the requested object on your iPhone using Apple's Vision framework, then discards the photo straight away. Photos are never saved to your library, stored by the app or sent anywhere.
Shortcuts and notifications
The Stretch shortcut runs on your iPhone and only tells the app which app is on screen, so it can switch black & white on or off. Heads-ups are local notifications scheduled on the device.
Tips
The "Leave a tip on Ko-fi" link in Settings opens Ko-fi in Safari. Stretch doesn't send Ko-fi anything; whatever you share there is covered by Ko-fi's own privacy policy.
Children
Stretch doesn't collect data from anyone, children included.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
